抹面砂漿的稠度可根據(jù)基層材料決定。選用普通抹灰砂漿，應同時考慮其可操作性，包括砂漿的保水性、黏聚性和觸變性，以及初期抗裂性、粘結強度、抗壓強度和后期抗裂性等多重指標，不能只偏重某一指標而影響砂漿其他性能。

抹面砂漿的使用應根據(jù)建筑物的立面尺寸精度和墻體結構形式決定。例如，磚結構墻體因為塊體之間灰縫多，塊體尺寸偏差大，一般就采用普通抹灰砂漿；鋼筋混凝土結構，如果模板尺寸精度偏差大或混凝土墻板與梁斷面尺寸不一致，那么也必須作普通抹灰；如果鋼筋混凝土結構基層尺寸精度偏差小，那么就可采用薄層砂漿抹灰。

The use of plastering mortar should be determined according to the vertical dimension accuracy of the building and the structural form of the wall. For example, for brick structure wall, because there are many mortar joints between blocks and the block size deviation is large, ordinary plastering mortar is generally used; for reinforced concrete structure, if the accuracy deviation of formwork size is large or the size of concrete wall panel and beam section is inconsistent, then ordinary plastering must be carried out; if the dimensional accuracy deviation of reinforced concrete structure base is small, thin-layer mortar plastering can be used.
