在大面積抹灰之前應設置標筋。抹灰應分層了進行，每一遍的厚度，5mm到7mm。如果是抹的石膏砂漿和水泥混合砂漿，那么每一遍的厚度為7mm其到9mm。如果抹灰層的的總厚度都超過35mm，就應該采取相應的加強措施。

水泥砂漿調制攪拌以后，應該在初凝之前用完，凡是出現硬砂塊，也就是砂漿開始凝結了就不得在繼續使用。
