刮大白一般使用石膏粉，石膏粉凝固后質(zhì)地較為堅硬，一般用于墻面的鑲嵌、填補，通常將石膏粉用作為底層。等到石膏粉全部凝固后再刷一層膩子，膩子要比石膏更細(xì)膩，膩子刷上以后還要進行拋光，最終做到和常見的墻面一致。
